3 GENERATIONS OF BEEKEEEPING & FARMING

Happy Organics began with a family rooted in agriculture.

For generations, our family has worked the land. Our grandfather was a beekeeper in Michoacán, México, while our grandmother sold beeswax at the local market. After immigrating to California, our family continued working in agriculture, selling produce and building a livelihood connected to the land. Today, our family still grows produce on our farm in Merced, California, carrying on a tradition that spans generations.

Our family farm rests in the heart of the Central Valley of California. Here, on our ten acre farm, we house thirty-four hives that collect pollen from our gardens. Our property grows lavender, rosemary, wildflowers, borage, sunflowers, citrus, pomegranate trees and fig trees.

OUR INSPIRATION

Growing up on the farm, I was surrounded by fruits, vegetables, and honey bees. My father kept bees and taught me the importance of caring for the land, while the changing seasons and harvests shaped my appreciation for agriculture and craftsmanship.

In 2018, I began making beeswax candles in a small garage on our family farm. Inspired by the produce I grew up around, I started creating molds from real fruits and vegetables, preserving their natural textures and details in beeswax. What began as a creative experiment eventually became Happy Organics.

Today, our candles are handcrafted in Los Angeles by our small team. Many of our designs are molded from real produce, celebrating the beauty of agriculture and honoring the generations of farmers, produce sellers, and beekeepers who came before us.

While our studio is now in Los Angeles, our roots remain on the family farm that inspired it all. Every candle is a reflection of our agricultural heritage and a celebration of the fruits and vegetables that have been a part of our family's story for generations.

From our family farm to your home, thank you for being part of our journey.
